I'm Rafael Wagner, a proud husband and father of two. Behind SHAPERS there's no marketing department — just my own very personal story.
Rock bottom.
Early 20s, seriously overweight — and quietly battling gynecomastia since puberty. I didn't feel comfortable at work, and I pulled back from my personal life. Back then, nobody in men's circles talked openly about anything like this.
Started SHAPERS
Out of my own need, I started SHAPERS in 2019 — to give men in a similar situation a real option. I was still much heavier back then. Next to me: the first prototype from our factory. Women had plenty of options; men had nothing comparable.
No surgery — by choice
Lost a lot of weight, but the love handles and gynecomastia stayed — genetics doesn't negotiate. I've consciously chosen not to get gynecomastia surgery to this day. I'm incredibly grateful to have helped over 35,000 men across the US find a solution.
